I’ve had many people come up to me and say, “I have been a Christian for years, but because of what God’s done in my life through Word of Faith I read more, I pray more, and I have fallen in love with the Lord again. My whole life has been changed!” I also had someone tell me recently, “I came to Word of Faith right after a tragedy, and if it weren’t for the people here at Word of Faith, I don’t think that I would have made it through.”

I just want to say thank you! Thank you for the love and support that you give to people every week. People’s lives are being changed at Word of Faith LV, and it’s all because of God and you! Because of the way you go beyond yourself to love people, care for people, and reach out to people.

I know that 2024 is going to be an even greater year! We are going to move forward and reach more people. We are going to continue to passionately pursue the Lord and pursue helping every person that God brings to us. Thank you so much for all you do for the Lord and for the church. I am honored and blessed to have the privilege of pastoring one of the greatest churches in this area, of young vibrant on fire people of God!

 Our mission is simple; we are commissioned by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to go   make disciples.

 Matthew 28:18-20 says “…Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing   them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to   observe all things that I have commanded you…”

​Since starting the ministry in April 2016, we have had a great year! We know it’s because of God, but it’s also because of your serving, your giving, and your praying that lives have been changed, not just at Word of Faith but also around this community. Because of you, lots of people accepted Christ this year through our ministry. Because of you, people experienced healing from past hurts and wounds as well as freedom from bondages and addictions.

Our 20/20 Vision 

Our goal is to connect people to God and empower them with the Word of God, by teaching, preaching, encouraging, mentoring, and instructing people in becoming consistent and effective in their relationship with God.

We are a Biblical based academic teaching and training ministry of love and excellence, offering classroom style instruction, mentoring, experiential and practical guidance.

Our goals are to establish a Christian Training Center providing the following services; on going daily discipleship training, christian catechism, leadership training, parenting, marriage counseling and financial recovery.

We are committed to living and teaching people how to live the extraordinary lifestyle of a Christian filled with the Power, Favor, and Blessings of God.

We are training an army of believers who are passionate about knowing God and living-out God's purpose for their lives. If God has planted you here, than you are a piece of this puzzle. Get rooted and begin to bloom where you have been planted.

About Our Church

Word of Faith Christian Center LV, is an independent evangelical church comprised of believers from various racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Our love for the Lord and each other has knitted us together for the purpose of establishing God's plan in our community. We are a nondenominational Bible-believing, Bible-teaching, Bible-practicing church, embracing a charismatic style of worship.

Word of Faith Christian Center LV, was founded by Pastors Jerome and his wife Yolonne Powell. Prior to our re- establishment in 2015 we were called Word of Faith Christian Center of Williamstown, New Jersey. In view of the fact that we have relocated, and begun a work in the Lehigh Valley our new legally incorporated name is now Word of Faith Christian Center of Lehigh Valley.

Our church is a Christian Training Center for those just coming to know Christ and for those believers who desire to serve God and others on a more mature level. Since our church caters to the whole person, we are committed to the development and implementation of Bible-based classes, which address the spiritual, physical and financial needs of believers.

 The message we declare is clear, “Jesus is Lord” we believe in order for one to live a victorious life in Christ and receive eternal life, a personal relationship with Him must be developed. Embracing the gospel of Jesus Christ is far more than a religious experience, or just a social gathering. When one asks Jesus to come into their heart and be Lord of their life, everything changes—purposes, attitudes, relationships, and one's outlook on life. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only answer to every situation we face in life.
